Born in Marseille to a diplomatic family, Majd Patou Fathallah is a British/Lebanese sculptor with a style of her own. Her vision and perspective have been inspired and shaped by extensive travels from early childhood and throughout her life.
After a career in radio, television and film production, her interests in philosophy, Far Eastern thoughts and music somehow naturally led to her true passion: SCULPTURE
Lebanon’s civil war, Life’s inequity and social responsibility’s deficiency profoundly affect her work. She divides her time between London and Northern Tuscany where she creates and produces her sculptures.
Her sculptures represent powerful scenes and emotions; some show tormented souls; others are perfectly proportioned finely sculpted human figures; several combine the use of different materials and colours, resulting into unique and magnificent pieces.
